I was impressed by the spacious room with a large ensuite, making my stay comfortable and enjoyable. The location was fantastic, right in the heart of town near the bus stand, which made it easy to explore the area. Plus, the nearby cafes provided a great spot for a morning coffee.
It got a bit noisy on the second night due to being above a pub, but it was manageable.

The rooms are quite spacious, offering a large ensuite that makes for a comfortable stay. Plus, the charging options available in the room were convenient for keeping devices powered up.
Upon entering the family room, an overpowering smell of air freshener mixed with something foul from the bathroom was immediately noticeable. Throughout the night, the noise from the bar below was unbearable, especially with live music blaring until the early hours, which made it impossible to get any sleep. The lack of a fridge in the room was inconvenient, particularly for families needing to store snacks or drinks. The previous year, the pool facilities included a built-in jacuzzi, but this time it was boarded off, turning the area into an uninviting space with unused sun loungers, and the pool temperature was uncomfortably cold for lounging. The overall lack of action on a reported issue regarding the smell and noise led to a frustrating experience for the family.

Staying at Joyce's was quite enjoyable, especially the comfortable double or twin room. The space was impressively clean, making it feel like a home away from home. I loved the nearby bars and restaurants which added a lively atmosphere to the area. the noise from the bar below was a bit much at night, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. the lack of a breakfast option on-site was inconvenient, requiring a trek to a nearby café in the rain.

Great stay with friendly vibes
Had a wonderful time in a spacious room with a killer ensuite. The bar staff went above and beyond, even helped us with local food spots. Loved the breakfast at the nearby café, especially the gluten-free options. Just wish the night noise from the pub was a bit quieter. Perfect spot for family with kids!

Central charm in Carndonagh! 🇮🇪🍻
Lekker stay with super comfy room and amazing locals. The vibe at the pub below was just top-notch, everyone was so friendly! Plus, the ensuite was a dream, very spacious and clean.
Only downside, no breakfast on-site, had to pop over to the nearby café in the rain.
